Seletti opens in Milan its first pop-up store totally dedicated to the rugs of the Seletti wears TOILETPAPER collection.

Seletti, the innovative and ironic Italian design brand, opens in Milan from October 21 to November 10 its first pop-up store totally dedicated to the rugs conceived in collaboration with TOILETPAPER, the image-only magazine created by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari.

 

For three weeks the the Dream Factory space will be invaded by the new rugs of the Seletti wears TOILETPAPER collection realized in the in the rectangular (194 x 280 cm) and round (diameter 194 cm) versions. They are finally available to the general public after their previewing in Miami, in the Untitled art fair lounge, and in Paris at the pop-up shop at Gallerie Perrotin.

 

Each rug presents an image chosen by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, printed onto the fabric using inkjet machinery designed specifically for large formats. The rugs – with a front made 100%  of polyester from recycled material – are realized with a special heat treatment ensures the resistance of the print and the vividness of the colors.

 

Rugs are the last addition to the Seletti wears TOILETPAPER catalogue and they are a confirmation of the brand's attention for the most avant-garde creative projects and a will to integrate them with objects in everyday use.

 

Available in 13 versions (Two of Spades, Eye & Mouth, Fingers, Lipsticks rectangular, Phone, Legs, Snooker, Cat, Lipsticks round, Teeth, Food with Holes, Lady on a Carpet, Snakes) they give the possibility to the customers to furnish their dwells with actual works of art created by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari.
