Terms & Conditions of Sale
The following Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale (together with the documents referred to below, including the Terms and Conditions of Use, Returns Policy and Privacy Policy) of products branded (or co-branded) Seletti on the website (“seletti.it”). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The products purchased on seletti.it are directly sold by Seletti S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as “the Vendor”) with registered office in Italy at Via Codebruni Levante 32, 46019 Viadana MN, business register number, tax code and VAT number 01221790205.

- General Business Policy
The products are sold by the Vendor exclusively to end-users classified as "Consumers," defined as individuals not purchasing for professional purposes. Orders from non-consumers or non-compliant orders may be rejected.
The Terms and Conditions of Sale cover interactions solely between Seletti and its customers. They exclude third-party products or services linked on the website, for which Seletti assumes no liability.
- Contract Formation
Customers must complete an online order form and submit it electronically to the Vendor. The form will provide product details, prices, payment options, shipping terms, and return policies.
By placing an order, customers declare that:
- a) are at least 18 years old;
- b) have full legal capacity to enter into a sale contract with the Vendor.
Submitting the order form constitutes acceptance of these terms, and a contract is formed when Seletti confirms the order's validity and availability.
Placing the order, the customer expressly acknowledges that: a) the order implies the obligation to pay for the products he intends to order;
- b) he expressly requests the execution of the supply of the products before the expiry of the period for exercising the right of cancel the contract.
The Vendor reserves the right to decline or cancel orders due to solvency issues, incomplete information, or product unavailability, informing the customer via email and refunding any payments if applicable.
- Product Details and Pricing
Products sold on seletti.it are exclusively Seletti-branded and sourced directly from the Vendor or authorized manufacturers.
Product images may differ slightly due to display variations.
Unless otherwise specified before placing an order, prices include the applicable and current VAT; any shipping costs are indicated separately.
The value is in €. Prices may change, and customers should confirm the final price before submitting an order.
Orders cannot be fulfilled if delivery addresses fall outside supported regions as specified in the Shipping Terms and in the Customer Service section or if products are marked as undeliverable.
- Payment
Payments, including for shipping, must follow one of the approved methods stated in the order form. Credit/Debit card transactions are secured through encrypted technology (SSL 128-bit), with card information used solely for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Shipping and Delivery
Customers must review the detailed shipping policies found in the Customer Service section of the website, as these are part of the terms. The Vendor will process the shipping promptly, typically within 2-3 working days from the order's confirmation, except for the delay circumstances reported in the Shipping Terms.

- Consumer Rights and Cooling-Off Period
7.1 Right to Cancel
Consumers have the right to cancel their contract with the Vendor for products purchased from seletti.it within fourteen (14) days from the day after receiving the products. Cancellation can be made without any penalty or need to provide a reason. Upon cancellation, the customer must return the products or deliver them to the Vendor (or to a third party authorized by the Vendor to receive them). Upon valid cancellation, a full refund of the product price will be issued in line with the following Clause 7.4.
7.2 Conditions for Returns
Products must be returned without undue delay (i.e. within three -3- days) and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days from notifying the Vendor of the cancellation. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or error by the Vendor. The customer has a legal duty to take reasonable care of the products while in their possession. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in compensation claims by the Vendor.
7.3 How to Return Products
- Notify the Vendor in writing of the cancellation within fourteen (14) days (starting the day after product receipt) by completing and submitting the online Return Authorization Request or by submitting any other explicit and written declaration of his decision to cancel the contract. Keep a record of your cancellation notice.
- Ensure the products have not been used, worn, washed, or damaged.
- The identification tag must remain attached, with the disposable seal intact.
- Return the products in their original packaging.
- Send the products back to the Vendor without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days following the cancellation.
7.4 Refund Processing
In the event of valid exercise of the right of cancellation, on the assumption that the customer has returned the products (or has provided proof of their return shipment), the Vendor will process refunds promptly, typically within fourteen (14) days of receiving the cancellation notice. The full product price and the cost of initial delivery will be refunded. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a Vendor error, defect, or damaged item.
7.5 Return Methods
- Use the approved courier indicated on the Return Authorization Request, with a pre-paid return label provided by our customer care service. The cost of return postage will be deducted from the refund.
- Securely package the products and return them using the Return Authorization Number provided. If not using the pre-paid service or approved courier in 7.5(A), it is recommended to use a courier for safe return.
7.6 Unspecified provisions
If the preceding Articles do not specify provisions deemed mandatory, reference is made to Chapter I, Title III of Part III of Legislative Decree 206/2005.
- Returns Due to Damage, Defects, or Incorrect Items
8.1 Refunds for Faulty Items
With reference to the current legal guarantee of conformity of the products, if returning a product due to a Vendor error, damage, or defect, the Vendor will:
- Refund initial delivery charges.
- Cover return costs. (as specified in the Return Authorization Request)

8.2 Notification Period and Condition Obligations
Customers must report issues related to damaged, clearly defected at the receipt, or incorrect products (the “Faulty Products”) within ten (10) days from the receipt. For other issues, customers should contact customer service for further instructions. Returned products should be in the same condition as when received, with a legal requirement for customers to maintain reasonable care. Failure to do so may result in compensation claims by the Vendor.
8.3 Steps for Returning Faulty Products
- A. Notify the Vendor, in writing, within the aforementioned ten (10) days by submitting the online Return Authorization Request and keep a record of this notification.
- B. Ensure the products have not been used, worn, washed, or damaged during used.
- C. The original identification tag must remain attached, with the disposable seal intact.
- D. Products must be returned in their original packaging, complete and unused.
- E. Return products to the Vendor within seven (7) working days after notifying them of the issue.
8.4 Examination and Refund Timeline
The Vendor will inspect returned items and notify the customer of the refund outcome via email. Refunds are typically processed within thirty (30) days of confirming eligibility. If a returned item is found not to be faulty, the customer will be informed and can choose to have the item re-delivered at their own expense. Declining re-delivery may result in the Vendor retaining the item and recovering associated fees.
8.5 Payment to Original Purchaser
Refunds are processed to the individual who made the original payment, even if they differ from the person who placed the order.
8.6 Returns effect
If the customer returns all the products received, he/she terminates the sales contract entirely or, if the products received are more than one, he/she terminates the contract limited to those products that he/she returns.
8.7 Refund Method
Refunds are typically processed using the original payment method.
8.8 Time Frame and Delays
Refunds will be processed according to the timeline specified in Clause 8.4. The Vendor is not responsible for delays outside its control, including those due to credit/debit card company refund policies.
- Discount Codes
9.1 Purchases can be made on the website using discount codes issued by Seletti S.p.A. If the value of the discount code is less than the total amount of the order, the remaining amount can be settled using one of the other payment methods available on the Site.
9.2 Discount codes cannot be combined for a single purchase. They cannot be applied to products that are already on promotion. Additionally, discount codes cannot be used for orders with a value lower than their total amount. Each discount code is valid for a single use and does not entitle the user to any change or remaining credit for purchases of lesser amounts.
9.3 Any products excluded from the use of discount codes will be clearly indicated on the Site. In case of cancellation of an order for which a discount code was used, the corresponding amount will be credited back to the customer’s account.
9.4 Discount codes are not convertible into cash under any circumstances.
- Gift Card
10.1 The gift cards from Seletti S.p.A. are delivered exclusively in electronic format and can be used to make purchases on the Site for an amount less than their nominal value. The unused balance will remain available in the customer's account and can be used for subsequent purchases within one year from the date of issuance of the gift card.
10.2 Gift cards cannot be combined for a single purchase. They cannot be converted into cash.
10.3 Items excluded from the use of gift cards will be clearly indicated on the website. In case of cancellation of an order made with a gift card, the corresponding amount will be credited back as available balance.
10.4 Gift cards do not entitle the user to change, but the remaining credit can be spent until expiration.
- Force Majeure
The Vendor cannot be held responsible for the failure or delayed fulfilment of its obligations herein, for circumstances beyond our reasonable and foreseeable control.
The performance of Vendor’ obligations under these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed suspended for the period in which the force majeure events persist.
- Privacy and Data Handling
Seletti's handling of personal data complies with its Privacy Policy, accessible on the website. Personal data security and usage are further outlined in the Terms and Conditions of Use.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale, such as the individual sales based on them, are governed by Italian law and in particular by Italian legislative decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005 on distance contracts and by Italian legislative decree no. 70 of 9 April 2003 on certain aspects related to e-commerce.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is illegal or invalid, it will not be considered as part of the Terms and Conditions and will not affect the remaining provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Amendments And Updates
The Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new or updated rules and regulations or other reasons. The new Terms and Conditions of Sale, as amended or updated, shall be effective as of the date of publication on seletti.it.
