During NYCxDESIGN– one of the most important design weeks for design in North America – Selettiis thrilled to announce a special partnership with BERGDORF GOODMANas its exclusive home décor partner enriching the set-up of Men’s and Women’s storesas well as some of the most prominent windows on the 5thAve and the 57thand 58thSt. until June 5th.

Some collections by Seletti are also available for purchase in the Home floor of the Women’s store(7thfloor). The project has been developed with the support of Bureau of Merchants, a shopping platform for contemporary furnishings, distributing the best of established and emerging brands.

The windows of the department store have been contaminated with Seletti’s most ironic and crazy pieces, results of the brand’s collaboration with some of the most interesting creative minds: the Monkey lamps by Marcantonioswing around with their provocative attitude; the ironic graphics of the SELETTI WEARS TOILETPAPER collection – realized in collaboration with artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari – subvert the classic iconography of 1950s design furniture and, finally, the Fast Food Furniture pieces by Studio Job, part of the BLOW by Job & Seletti collection, pay homage to the most famous American food transforming it into sofas and armchairs.

“Being in the heart of New York with a special project in collaboration with one of the most prominent department store in the world is a great honor”, says Stefano Seletti, the brand’s art director. “We love to mix design and fashion, to give our customer the feeling that there is a whole lifestyle to embrace when you buy Seletti. Our objects are not only functional ,  they are also an aesthetic statement and being part of such an articulate project with Bergdorf Goodman is a way to highlight once more our identity”.
