 Special Guest: Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba

 Seletti, the most irreverent and pop Italian design brand, is back to Shanghai on the occasion of Design Shanghai 2017. 

The firm exhibits some of its new collections as well as its best-selling pieces to the Exhibition Center, bringing to China its unmistakable aesthetics, irony and joie-de-vivre. 

Besides its most well-known signature pieces, Seletti will be showing the whole range of the Estetico Quotidiano Collection – marking its first 10 years anniversary; the I-Wares tableware collection with precious golden details; he Hybrid collection by CTRLZAK including the new rugs; the outdoor furniture Industry Collection designed by Studio Job; the Seletti wears TOILETPAPER rugs together with the whole range of homeware designed in collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari; the Diesel Living collections – Cosmic Diner, Machine and Work is Over – highlighting the partnership with the cutting-edge Italian fashion brand Diesel.

Design Shanghai is also the occasion to celebrate the long-lasting partnership between Seletti and Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, artist and designer who has been collaborating with the bran for several years now. His Monkey Lamps and Mouse Lamps are part of a special installation inside Seletti's booth, expressing all the strength and potential of these objects. Marcantonio is also among the guests invited by Design Shanghai to address the public of the fair. His speech “Art, Design / Design, Art” - taking place on March 10th at 2.30 pm in the Conference Hall – will be focused on the designer's artistic approach to function and functionality, on his inspiration and on the relation with Seletti and its out-of-the-box way of thinking.
